Masking Level Difference?

Do any of you currently use the masking level difference test as part of 
a central auditory processing battery? (Or know of someone who does?)  I 
would like to know what frequency you use, which method of establishing 
threshold you have found to be best for this test, and if the test has 
been useful in your opinion.
