Need advice on new aids

I guess it depends on your GP.  I went to one who told me that my ears were 
fine (I'm about 50 db down).  I guess he thought I was faking?  Who knows.  
Now if I go to the doc about my hearing I go to an ENT.  But if you had a good 
GP,  I guess YMMV.
