ABR/OAE Dilemma

I recently attended a seminar in which this type of problem was 
highlighted. The speaker was Dr Charles Berlin from New Orleans 
University.

While not whishing to profess any expertise in this area I did manage to 
understand that it had something to do with the failure of the efferent 
hearing system such that the defect occured post outer haircell and pre 
VIIIth nerve.

Sorry I didn't get Dr Berlin's em address. Anyone else help here.
