problem with earmolds

I have had success in the past with deaf students of mine that had
similiar problems by using a 'Patriot' style earmold from Emtech labs.
This mold comes with only the canal portion of the ear in contact with the
material. But it is hollowed out most of its length and is very soft and
pliable. The students found it very comfortable and were able to tolerate
it very well. An additional plus was that it also eliminated feedback
problems that they sometimes had with their conventional earmolds.

Maybe your audiologist could check out if this might work for you.
