The AFA's entitlement does not grant a "degree", but recognizes 
those audiologist, who through clinical experience, continuing 
education and professional dedication, meet the current "academic 
requirements" of the AuD.

These individuals may not use "Dr." unless the state laws or 
licensure allow.  These individuals are to be identified by title 
"Jane/John Doe, M.S., Au.D.", with the highest earned academic 
degree preceding "Au.D."
