High frequency noise limits in products

My apologies in advance if this is somewhat off topic but - Does anyone
know of any specs or recommendations on maximum limits for high frequency
noise  (>10 KHz) that consumer products can emit? TV sets sometimes emit
15KHz noise from the horizontal sync transformer and computers can generate
audio noise from disk drives. Any answers, literature recommendations or
pointers to more appropriate newsgroups would be appreciated. TIA.
