Do audiologists even do UCL's

That's why they make hearing aids with wide dynamic range compression
(ie the ReSound).  With the small volume of a child's ear canal, it is
very easy to reach high amplification levels faster than expected. 
These kids reject amplification because some sounds truly hurt their
ears.  Both UCL and Real ear measurements should be performed for all
hearing aid fittings, but especially for children.
