Call for papers

[TilakOHC]

The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf seeks proposals for
presentations and short courses to be given at the 1998 International
Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas from June 29 to July 3, 1998. 

In the spirit of "Speaking of Hot", the Program Committee invites
parents, professionals, and persons who are deaf or hard of hearing to
submit proposals for presentations and short course via the Internet at
http://www.agbell.org

Possible presentation topics include:

	Early identification of hearing loss and its payoff
	Educational goals for our children
	Family dynamics, self-esteem and self-advocacy
	Proactive medical and legal issues
	Integrating technology in the workplace, home and school
	Preparation for entry into the workforce
