What? Your grad school did not offer "Veterinary Audiology"!?!? :-)
My cousin is a certified ASL interpretter, and her dogs understand about a
dozen individual signs. But the dogs are hearing, and I don't know what the
success rate would be of teaching an already hard-of-hearing dog......
