Assistant Professor Vacancy: Audiology

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a faculty position in audiology
at the Assistant level.

Position:

Assistant Professor, Department of Speech and Hearing Science

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in audiology preferred, but related field considered; CCC-A strongly
preferred.  Demonstrated excellence or promise of excellence in research and
teaching is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct research in area of expertise, seek extramural funding for research,
teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advise graduate students, and
participate in related scholarly activities.  Teaching load is consistent
with the need to demonstrate excellence in research.

Appointment:
Academic year (9 month) contract, tenure-track position.

Salary:

Negotiable and competitive.

Position Available:

August 21, 1998.
