Finding the ear surgeon --1966 stapendectomy

My first stapendectomy was done about 1966, obviously with a prothesis
very different than used today. I need to find the doctor who did if
to find out if it can tolerate an MRI for my neck. Is there some
directory or other source of information I can use to find him?

He was a young resident at the time, so there's a realistic chance
he's still available.
