Is everyone aware of the method developed by the William House to do
very
inexpensive infant testing? It relies on the use of a sound level meter
and the mother's voice arousing a sleeping baby. It sounds like a very
practical approach when the ideal equipment is not available. It is
de-tailed in the American Auditory Sopciety Bulletin, Vol. 23, #1, Marhc
1998.
