Are there any articles that support the benefits of a personal FM system for a
child who is mildly autistic with a history of recurrent ome, secondary
conductive hearing loss, BMT, and with functioning tubes- normal hearing. He
will be mainstreamed into a regular classroom this fall, and is easily
distracted by background noise. He does not demonstrate any signs of
hyperacusis and will tolerate wearing a personal FM. I am searching for
articles to support and demonstrate the advantages of an FM system.
