What percentage of those with ADHD have CAPD (Central Auditory
Processing Disorder)? I've heard a 25% figure. There also are a small
number of reports that CNS medicines including Ritalin and caffeine
compounds can, in a handful of cases, temporarily improve hearing a
little as in clients saying they can hear a little better now (which
unfortunately is often only as long as the medicine lasts which is only
for a few hours). ADHD = Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
syndrome.
