Remote testing/tele-audiology

I am involved in a project for doing remote audiology.
Our local problem is that a visit to the hospital/lab/specialist
may involve many hours of travel, maybe including an overnight
stay. I.e. many people will not use their hearing aids optimally.

We are planning to put neccessary equipment at local GPs and
connect them to central specialists using (already in place)
broadband healtcare IP-nets.

Any pointers to related projects, products or persons?
