Dear sir:

Here at the Field Museum, we simply precipitate the reactions after
diluting them to 50ul, followed by two 70%EtOH washes (of course,
adjust your added salt to be proportional to sample volume).  This
eliminates dye blobs nicely, and the two washes eliminate salt-
warping of the early portion of the sequences.  I can also attest to
the usefulness of Centri-Sep columns:  the plastics can be saved and
new Sephadex G-50 used with each run.
