Background on 377 gels

Hi there,


												does anyone have any suggestions as to what might cause blue 
background on 377 gels ? 	I have been running a 377 for over 1 year, in 
the main using version 1.0 collection software ; I have experienced my 
fare share of red rain and green haze but never giant blue blobs, which 
have arisen since I started using the XL upgrade. Any suggestions ?
