What ever happened to DNA sequencing using redundant binary coding?
as described in:
Nelson, M., Van Etten, J. L., and Grabherr, R. (1992). DNA sequencing of
four bases using three lanes. Nucleic Acids Res. 20: 1345-1348.
This promised better results and increased productivity from four lane
sequencing instruments from Li-Cor and Pharmacia, but nothing more about
it has appeared in the literature since.
