I use a 377 with the standard 36 well sharkstooth (st) comb, but it gives similar trouble from time to time. One trick an ABI engineer told me is to apply a very SMALL trace of oil to the teeth before inserting the comb; he reccommended using the grease from one's forehead (!) but I use silicon oil.
