For a microsatellite 200 bases long Genescan can distinguish 1 base differences, but what if the microsatellite is 1,200 bases long. Does anyone know the resolution for fragments 500, 750, or over 1000 bases long? Will we have to "bin" alleles? Thanks in advance Amy tucker_a @umbsky.cc.umb.edu
