Research Technician
An NSF funded-position is open beginning April 1, 1999 for research into
the genomics of the salt-loving extremophile, Halobacterium. Preference
will be given to candidates with experience in archaeal genomics,
computational analysis of nucleotide and protein sequences using the GCG
software package and SGI and Macintosh environments. Experience with
the
operation of ABI DNA sequencers is a plus. Salary commensurate with
qualifications. Reference UMass-Amherst requisition no. R06506.
