Has anyone tried the low-temperature-optimized
basecaller etc. for the 3700 on the PE web site[1]? I just
tried it out on some reads generated the day before
yesterday. I mainly used Robert Chadwick's protocol for
running [2] with the injection time/voltage change suggested
recently by Stephen Lasky [3].
I was hoping to see improvements in my phred q>20 scores
but I saw the opposite:
number of
phred q>20
bases old new
0-49 4 4
50-99 1 1
100-149 1 2
150-199 2 1

Any comments?
