Anyone who has logged into nic.funet.fi will realise that there
is a huge amount of files available. The different archive
areas are maintained by different people. So if you have a
problem with any of the archives, or need advice, you can write
to an appropriate mailbox and get an answer. The series of
mailboxes that have set up are listed below.

To contact the maintainer of the "molbio" archive you would
write to molbio at nic.funet.fi, for all the "sci" archives then
it would be sci at nic.funet.fi, and if you are not sure where to
send your message to then try maints at nic.funet.fi and this will
be directed to all of the maintainers on nic. I have yet to see
a message go unanswered when it has been sent to "maints". You
can think of it as an online consultancy.
