    The question was data acquistion from a Beckman Beta Scintillation
    Counter.

    I have been in a project doing just that. There is a product from
    Digital Products, 108 Water St. Watertown MA 02172 called Data
    Commander that is a serial data collection device, comes in 6, 10 and
    16 port configurations and with 250 K buffer upgradeable to 4MB.

    You can write your own data collection routines or use the nobrainers
    supplied by Digital Products.
