Gel Analysis Programs ????

	Our lab is considering getting a video system for 1-D gels 
( autorads, starch gels ..etc.). The only problem is the software 
costs a bundle and I was wondering if there is a program out there 
that can handle a digitized picture of a gel in terms of being able to 
do the appropriate analysis .e.g size ..etc.
	Any help would be appreciated.
