It's true.
(From the NCBI Fact Sheet for Entrez:Sequences CD-ROM)
NCBI has developed an end-user CD-ROM called Entrez:Sequences that contains an
integrated view of DNA and protein sequence data and their associated MEDLINE
entries.  The CD-ROM is available from the Government Printing Office (GPO) and
operates on Macintosh and PC-compatible systems with Windows.

Currently they are shipping pre-release 5.  Pre-release 6 will be shipping in
July and official subscriptions will begin October 15.
