Mac-based analysis of electron micrographs?

Hello, does anyone use a Mac to do quantitative morphometric analysis 
of electron micrographs on Mac?  If so what software/hardware do you 
use?  I know of NIH Image, but I was wondering about a more specialist 
probably commercial package.  Would also need to do counting of 
imunogold particles.  Thanks for any advice.
P.S. the varied nature of some of my postings is due to requests I get 
from colleagues for this kind of info!
