Phylip on Iris Indigo - help!

I recently downloaded the version of phylip compiled for the Iris Indigo from 
IUBIO, and whenever I run the dnaml (or dnamlk, or even dnapars) program I get 
results like "No case matches value in case statement on page 1 line 874 file 
./dnaml.p.".  The input file is a direct upload of a phylip 3.4 file from the 
Macintosh, so I don't THINK that is the problem.  Does anyone have any 
experience running Phylip on the Iris?
