PC Densitometry software

Hi everybody - hope this same question wasn't posted too long ago.

I'm looking for public domain software for the pc which can handle
scanned-images of autorads and do densitometry on them.  I have mac and use
NIH Image, but would like to find something equivalent for pc so that they
won't be using my mac all of the time!  

Does anyone out there know of such a beast?
