Someone had asked about IBM-pased software for drawing plasmid maps., etc.
A few come to mind: the "Lasergene" package from DNAStar, "Clone Manager"
from BioCode, and probably "DNAsis" from Hitachi (I know of these, but
actually haven't used them all ... some are rather expensive). Another
is the "GCG" package (GEnetics Computer Group, Inc.) which runs off of
our Univ mainframe. If you need addresses or ph no, drop a line. Hope
