3D images

I'm trying to do a project where I reconstruct a 3D image from 
different sections of slides.  My imaging system returns a TIFF
file, and I can draw an outline of what I want to reconsturct.
My problem is converting the collection of outlines into a 3D
image.  Someone mentioned that I might be able to convert the edges
into vectors and use AutoCad to reconstruct.  Anyone have any ideas?

This would be a great way to look at spacial relations.
