The now grievously out-of-date PIR ALIGN program can still be obtained on the
PIR program tape distribution. It is not available on the protein database
tape or CD-ROM distribution. We do provide access to the program through the
PIR On-Line service or through special guest account arrangements. Because of
its involved user interaction, it is not available through the PIR Network
Request Server. Information about the databases, sequence analysis programs,
tapes, on-line services, custom services or prices can be obtained by sending
a message to PIRMAIL at GUNBRF on BITNET, to PIRMAIL at NBRF.Georgetown.EDU on
Internet, by writing
    Ms. Kathryn Sidman
    Protein Identification Resource

by calling her at (202) 687-2121 or by FAX at (202) 687-1662.

The Computational Biochemistry Research Group (CBRG) at the ETH in Zurich
offers a computing server accessible by e-mail. All the queries submitted to
the system are processed with the Darwin system and use publicly available
databases. Requests should be mailed to
  cbrg at inf.ethz.ch
Users may request help from that server with the commands
  Help
  Info
or
  Help Darwin
