Looking for parent+child, both profs, for interviews

Dear Netters,
A friend of mine would like to see how opportunities in Academia
have changed over the past generation or two, and he would like
to do so by interviewing a parent(s) and child(ren) who both
went into academia as college professors, preferably in the same
field. If possible, they should be near northern Virginia, but 
they don't have to be. The interviews may be used for a story in
a national newspaper.
