We have network lines, but do not have a CD player. I would think with
the resources on Internet, that the value for getting a network connection
in an institution that is already connected to Internet is much better
than getting a CD player...especially one that can be accessed by multiple
users.

Perhaps someone in the European community could set up Entrez
dispatchers there to alleviate the transatlantic problem.
In terms of network bandwidth usage, is there not the same problem
with World Wide Web Servers and the sometimes useless icons and gifs that
they contain?
