Microbiology - Workstations

	Hi! 

	The Institute of Microbiology of the Karlsruhe University
	(where I have a student job) is considering the possibility
	of buying a workstation. The problem is we don't know what
	kind of software there is for each different workstation,
	so it would be very helpful if people could post what kind
	of machines and software they use in this field.
