A new version of fasta, fasta17a3.shar(.Z) is available on virginia.edu. This version has several bug fixes that I thought I had included in the distribution version over the past few months but some of them were apparently left out. In addition, it includes a more readable histogram of the similarity scores. Bill Pearson
