You can try these options: readseq (a sequence format converter)
or seqapp (a sequence editor that includes readseq conversions).

Gopher or FTP to ftp.bio.indiana.edu, look in IUBIo-Software+Data
folder molbio/readseq/mac-bin/ for readseq.hqx and
folder molbio/seqapp/ for seqapp.hqx.
