i'm pleased to say that PIMA compiles flawlessly, zero errors, on my
linux system.  i'm running linux 1.2.11 and, this is an ELF system,
gcc 2.7.0.

now, when i figure out how to use it with my protein i'll be set.
even though there is a WWW interface, it's good to know this compiles
on my system.
