They don't all work fine though - I've seen one 8100 where it crashes
consistently, producing an *amazingly* long crash dump on the host machine.
It was particularly bad in the WPI/SMALL mode (I've no idea why). 
Both TCP/IP and DECNET transports gave problems.  Additionally, the same
PowerMac had some problems with LAT.

My current working hypothesis is that there is a problem with this
particular PowerMac's ethernet or network software, I've not yet had a
chance to replace these with the latest and greatest from Apple's support
site. 

General point for PC/Mac X11 servers, it's a BIG help if you can get
the screen resolution up to something reasonable, like 1024 X 768 or
greater.  X11 servers will run at 640 X 480, but they are none too useful
at that resolution!
