Dear Bo,

the realease ntes from each database is probably your best
(most up to date and reliable) source of information about
these numbers.  I include these from GenBank and Swiss-Prot
below.  The numbers from GenBank and EMBL should be the same,
as all the database which are part of the international
collaboration (GenBank, EMBL and DDBJ) exchange each others
data daily, so that each database represent the latest
picture.  GenBank releases now (since 1993) come out every
two months.  Swiss-Prot come out every 4 months.
