MapMaker 3.0 expertise?

To the group,

We've received a large RFLP dataset from Steve Tanksley of Cornell
which we'd like to use in conjunction with MapMaker 3.0 to map our
own markers in the tomato genome.

I'm something of a novice with 3.0, so I'd like to ask if there's anyone
out there who I can correspond with. I'd like to set up the 'frameworks'
for each chromosome so I can then introduce our new markers and map
them, say, one-by-one. Most of this could be done with the appropriate
'.prep' file. Unfortunately, though the manual is good, it isn't good
enough to make these steps easy and obvious. Are there any generous
experts out there?

Thank you for your attention to these matters,
