We use a program called DIGED/MAPC/MAPL by W. Pearson. I think we picked
it up from ftp.bio.indiana.edu or EMBL several years ago. Otherwise, the
author probably still has a copy, or I could pack up our copy for you. It
is written in Fortran, and works pretty well for small maps.
