Phil Green Implementation of S-W Algo

Hi !

I'm looking for any paper or source code describing the the Phil 
Green's, U. of Washington, implementation of the Smith and 
Waterman alogorithm. 

I had browsed the WWW of the Washington University but I found
nothing !

Any help ?
