Post Doctoral Research Fellow - Structural Bioinformatics

The National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NPACI) 
as administered by the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) has an
immediate opening in the Computational Biology Group to work in the area
of structural bioinformatics. The initial phase of the collaborative
project will create an interoperable query environment between a variety
of existing structural databases. Later phases will research automated
structure and function assignment by comparative analysis. The ideal
candidate will have a PhD in molecular or structural biology and be
proficient in Perl and C++ or Java. The successful candidate will be
located at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) on the UCSD campus in
beautiful La Jolla. The initial appointment will be for one year starting
immediately.  Salary will be commensurate with experience. For further
