Free library of repeats for DNA masking?

Hello,
I am interested in finding out if there are freely available
(even to commercial firms) alternatives to Repbase. One would
think that with the flood of human genomic data coming in that
sequencing centers would have established up-to-date libraries
of such repetitive DNA for their masking efforts. Any
pointers?
Thanks very much.
