  There are versions of Phred, Phrap & Consed for Mac PC UNIX & Linux
  available from
  http://www.codoncode.com/index.htm


  Note: at the present time Phred does not work with the MegaBACE's native
  .esd files.  You need to convert the data to .adb (aka abi) format inorder
  for Phred to work.  The Green lab at U.Wash. is in the process of working
  with the Molecualr Dynamics to make Phred megaBACE friendly and it should
  be soon.
