Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT, is a leading
biopharmaceutical company listed on the London Stock Exchange. We are
currently recruiting a number of bioinformatics scientists and software
engineers to join an established, internationally recognised group.

These positions represent exciting opportunities working on the
development of informatics systems using leading edge technologies for
software design and development. Successful candidates will be able to
demonstrate understanding, or have a proven track record, in more than
one of the following: object-orientated programming and design;
distributed object platforms; relational and object database design.

Detailed understanding in some of the following specific areas would be
a plus: Java; CORBA; UML; object-orientated software patterns; Oracle;
XML/XSLT; signal processing; machine learning.  Candidates with a strong
mathematical background are preferred.

Operating in a stimulating, dynamic team environment you will have a
variety of challenging opportunities.  These include interacting with
CAT scientists and blue-chip collaborators; and developing algorithms
for analysing, visualising and mining complex data.
