Title: Software Project Engineer
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Compensation: Full-Time, Salaried ($80-90,000), Stock Options, Full Benefits

(client will assist in relocation)

Our client is involved in the R&D and development of sophisticated medical 
instrumentation and equipment that is being used in the fight against 
cancer. This software engineering position is a significant position and 
part of a multi-functional product development group.  You will interact 
closely with our client's senior management team, engineers, scientist 
and vendors.  There is very little travel involved in this position.

The ideal candidate must have:

-5+ years software product development and direct experience with Win32 
based real time embedded instrumentation/equipment.
-Full life cycle development (requirements, design, code, test and integration)

-Strong programming skills in VC++/C and a knowledge of assembly.
-Project management


You will report to the VP of Product Development and will perform the 
following:

-Complete projects for the development, long-term maintenance and future 
enhancements of product software.
-Complete projects to develop and maintain non-product specific software 
and hardware that interface to product software for diagnostic, testing 
and analysis purposes.
-Develop project plans and manage projects to meet objectives for specifications, 
budget, schedule and regulatory compliance.
-Support sustaining engineering.
