DbWatcher errors ?

Greetings,
 Lately the dbwatcher program
[http://www-igbmc.u-strasbg.fr/BioInfo/LocalDoc/DBWatcher/] has been
complaining about blast2 services at NCBI.
I tried to contact the author ..but no response ...has any one
encountered this problem

Any suggestions ? [ I did recompile the program with the new ncbi tool
kit ..with no luck, the program had been running fine for a while]
