I apologize such a huge delay in the release. Considering I did not have
any computer for the last four months to work on SeWeR, I hope you'll
grant me a generous pardon.
What's new in this release?
This is the first W3C DOM compatible version of SeWeR. That means,
SeWeR now runs in almost all the major browsers, particularly,
Netscape (Mozilla), and Firefox. This is an almost complete rewrite of
NetScape 7.* on Linux and Windows, Firefox 0.8 on Linux and Windows,
and Internet Explorer 6 on Windows.

All the major and minor link problems has been fixed.
All future versions of the SeWeR will be released under the auspices of
Bioinformatics.org. SeWeR at last is free from all beurocratic
intervention. I am in the process of opening up the SeWeR CVS for public
contribution and maintenance. If you want to contribute and become the
part of core developers please let me know.
For those of you who are wondering what this funny name "SeWeR" means,
and why I am blabbering about it. SeWeR is an integrated web interface
for web-based sequence analysis, and modesty demands that I shut my
mouth and request you to visit the web page.
Check out a still buggy version of SeWeR as interface to EMBOSS, created
